Prime Constructions delivered the warehouse and office facility for DHL including truck hardstand and turning areas, sunken docks and parking facilities. The project features dado walls to the perimeter of the warehouse and full height precast walls to the southern boundary. Prime have delivered a number of facilities for DHL as the tenant for repeat client Goodman. This project however, was procured directly with DHL as client and tenant.
A number of ESD considerations have been incorporated into the facility including solar panels to the warehouse roof, solar HWS, LED light fittings, external PE cells with internal sensors and re-use rainwater tank system.
The site which has a gross area of 42,913m2, required retaining walls to the majority of the perimeter with other considerations including a riparian zone on the northern boundary, the Warragamba Dam pipeline on the southern boundary and a gas easement to the northern end.
