Ron Masters & Phil de Gail established Prime Constructions in 1983, Prime is now regarded as one of the leading building contractors in New South Wales. Paul Christopher joined Prime in 1988 as a cadet and John Drake commenced as a general foreman in 1989. Having prospered and developed within the increasingly expanding company, John & Paul became directors and shareholders in 2000 and in 2010 became joint managing directors.

Our services include new construction, refurbishment and fit-out for projects up to $80m and our experienced teams are available to undertake industrial, commercial, retail and institutional projects.

With a proven record of project delivery for over 35 years we pride ourselves on our market competitiveness, financial strength, safety record and reputation for integrity among clients, consultants and subcontractors.

Our Safety System is accredited to AS/NZS 4801:2001 and addresses the requirements of all relevant WHS legislation.

Prime Interiors have been engaged on several building projects at out Ultimo premises ranging from the original building refurbishment several years ago, to the most recent construction of new 2KY radio studios earlier this year. The radio studio proved technically challenging given the pre-existing building constraints, coupled with the absolute need to comply with stringent acoustic specifications. Prime managed all the trades, undertook the work professionally, accommodated the client’s changes to scope as the projects matured and completed on schedule.
