The Waste Water Treatment Plant project for our esteemed and repeat client, 3M, involves the construction of a live site facility with extensive service diversions to maintain ongoing operations.

Situated within a brownfield environment, the project requires intricate process engineering solutions to address multifaceted challenges. A key component involves the construction of an insitu 250KL MBBR concrete tank, emphasizing the project’s scale and technical complexity.

This endeavor underscores our commitment to delivering robust infrastructure solutions tailored to our client’s exacting requirements, while prioritizing environmental sustainability and operational continuity.

This project included the fitout of a wine bottling plant and installation of a wine tank farm capable of storing in excess of 1 million litres of wine. The project required significant structural and services alterations to the existing building to accommodate the production fit-out works. Works included an underground trade waste treatment tank for the management of wine discharge.

A highly technical and complex installation, the project was challenged by works progressing in an operational environment which also included major fire services upgrades and detailed services works. The facility also includes a laboratory for wine testing.

The project comprises alterations, service upgrade and fitout of an existing industrial facility to accommodate the relocation of 3M’s harness manufacturing facility in Silverwater.

Working in an operational environment, engagement with all stakeholders was paramount in order to the deliver project successfully without disruption to day to day operations.

Prime Projects completed the refurbishment of an existing factory for 3M which facilitated the introduction of new equipment and clean room facilities for the manufacture of key filtration products.

Energy efficiency improvements came from modern LED lighting systems and new world class production equipment.

The project involved the repurposing an existing GPT warehouse including the fitout of 1,000m² office, fire service upgrades, additional recessed docks and new breezeway. In addition, major structural alterations were required to accommodate three $20m printing press machines from Germany.
