Prime Constructions’ project for Fife Capital – a Base Building facility designed to house a future automated warehouse and packaging center for Multigate, a prominent supplier of surgical instruments to Sydney hospitals.

Constructed on a brownfield site with challenging ground conditions, the full height precast facility spans an area over 22,000m2, featuring a 6,500m2 x 6m high concrete mezzanine, a 4,400m2 super-awning including 45m wide transfer beams, a double-storey dock office, 8 recessed docks, 8 on-grade docks, and a 400m long x 5m high boundary retaining wall. Despite significant design changes requiring multiple council approvals and staging of construction, not to mention the extreme weather events of 2022, the project was successfully delivered. This accomplishment is a testament to the dedication and resilience of the project team and reinforces Prime’s commitment to excellence in construction for its repeat client, FIFE Capital.
