Loreto Kirribilli’s Tremayne Building was transformed from a backpacker’s hostel into a modern education art facility including classrooms, studios and photographic dark rooms. The existing five storey building was stripped out including the removal of internal walls and floors whilst leaving the external walls in place. The works included the construction of four new floors within the existing envelope.

Behind the Tremayne Building was a three-story hostel which was converted into staff offices and additional art rooms for the school.
