Prime Constructions successfully completed this state-of-the-art sports centre, playing field and undercover car park for Abbotsleigh. The project included the construction of a new multi-purpose sports and assembly hall that houses three indoor sports courts, indoor rock-climbing walls, function rooms, offices and teaching rooms. The scope of works also included 166 car parking spaces and a new open-air artificial sports field with a 100m running track. The project won a WAN Architectural Award in 2018 and the MBA Excellence in Construction Awards in 2015 for Sporting Facilities $15M-$20M & Best Use of Structural Steel.

Proudly displayed at the main school entry, Jamison High School’s Multi-Purpose Hall comprises of a new timber multi-sports floor, adjoining change facilities and amenities, and connecting landscape features.

With an area and facilities to host large gatherings, exams and assemblies for 450 seated students and staff, the hall provides the school, its students, and community with a modern and comfortable place to learn.

The Police Citizens Youth Club project is a feature civic building on the Northern Beaches consisting of three levels of multi-purpose facilities. The podium level consists of three basketball courts, a youth drop in centre, a café and general-purpose space. Below there are three levels of public car parking.

The Rosewood Centre comprises of three levels of classrooms, fitness areas and staff facilities along the southern side of the building. The ground floor predominantly houses car parking and services area, level 2 is the main sports hall floor with street access from both the east and north-western sides. This level houses five multi-sport courts and central amenities area. Level 3 has a central walkway that allows access from the north and across to the southern classroom section.

The Institute of Languages for the UNSW features concrete columns and walls, polished concrete tiled floors throughout and glass facades.

Prime has undertaken five projects at the King’s School. Barker Hake boarding house (79 beds), Broughton Forrest boarding house (82 beds), Macarthur Waddy boarding house (82 beds), Kurrle Wickham day house and the Dalleywater Centre prep school classrooms. The extensive refurbishment programme was a part of the restructuring of the school’s day and boarding houses. The scope of works included upgrading the external features of the buildings to align with the distinctive architectural style on display throughout the senior school.

The St. Aloysius’ College Dalton Hall was an achievement demonstrating the combined efforts of a talented consultancy and construction team bringing to life the school’s future vision. Numerous difficulties and challenges were overcome to construct a modern and high quality multi-level educational and sporting facility. The five level building includes a swimming pool, gymnasium, sports hall, staff offices, classrooms and a rooftop carpark.

The St Narsai Assyrian Christian College is the first Assyrian Secondary College to be established in the Western world. Prime Constructions initially undertook Stages 1 & 2 which includes classrooms, car parking and recreational ovals. Stage 3 followed, this includes a double storey Music, Art and Science Building with formal courtyard and landscaped areas and a COLA (covered outdoor learning centre).

The construction comprises pop out aluminium composite panel clad windows, off form concrete retaining walls, exposed aggregate concrete footpaths, formal landscaping and architecturally designed internal areas.

Storm water and overland flow systems have been designed to run through landscaped swales to store water before discharge into Reddy Creek. Local provenance native species have been utilized in the landscape design to maintain the Cumberland Plain natural flora of the area.

A detailed methodology was developed to mitigate disruption of the school’s operation.

A design and construct project which involved the alterations and additions to a number of buildings. The works included a new three storey walkway connecting five separate buildings along with providing an extensive glass canopy over the existing quadrangle.

In addition, the old Wyndham building was extended and converted into science labs and classrooms.

The linkways also incorporated separate tutorial rooms on all levels.
